This article is good, but it needs a slightly better opening to explain it to laymen - remember that this could be getting linked from a wide variety of much less technical articles, so it helps to explain in simple terms first, then include all the information more expert readers will want.
It's a relatively technical subject, so obviously some sections - or even most of the article - will necessarily be difficult reading to the untrained, but we can ramp up the difficulty as we go. Adam Cuerden(
