Merge

I think that this should be merged into the main Nanga Parbat article, since it is a pretty small stub and isn't likely to get longer, and since its notability is almost entirely due to its proximity to the peak. -- Spireguy 14:24, 27 October 2006 (UTC) reply

Please discuss this on Talk:Nanga Parbat. -- Spireguy 14:26, 27 October 2006 (UTC) reply

Local Name

I am reverting this by User_talk:Eli_Katzmann. The actual source cited for the local name specifies Joot. Cheers, Not Sure ( talk) 20:23, 24 April 2021 (UTC) reply

Trekkers/Mountaineers

para 1: "it serves as the launching point for trekkers summiting on the Rakhiot face of the Nanga Parbat" Trekkers have no hope of summiting Nanga Parbat (by any route).

Have changed the word trekkers in this sentence to 'mountaineers'. Babybrew6 ( talk) 11:20, 6 February 2024 (UTC) reply
