(proposed headers) I'm detecting a possible conflict of intrests regarding the activities of this org. A page ( http://web.archive.org/web/20000128030442/http://www.summersault.com/~agj/clr/alerts/highprioalert.html) claimed that Nike was a founding member of the FLA. Following up I discovered from the horses mouth that (this quote has been butchered to get to the point), "...a unique new coalition of apparel and footwear companies, human rights, labor rights, and consumer advocates (the AIP)...presented its agreement on the Code of Conduct and the Principles of Monitoring to the President, and the Fair Labor Association (FLA) was formed. In short order, the coalition would add colleges and universities to its roster."
Members of the AIP (including Nike): http://actrav.itcilo.org/actrav-english/telearn/global/ilo/guide/apparell.htm
This is beyond the scope of research I'm currently engaged with but I thought I'd leave these thoughts here, if only at least for later. Xetxo ( talk) 21:26, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Does the characterization of the corporate affiliates of FLA as “socially-responsible” adhere to our Neutral Point of View policy? Bwrs ( talk) 00:17, 30 March 2012 (UTC)

The article has been extensively edited by COI editors in 2017 and a UPE sockfarm in 2020, including recent IP edits. There has not been substantial edits by other users, so I added the {{ UDP}} tag. MarioGom ( talk) 21:49, 20 April 2021 (UTC)

Hi all, a few suggestions for updating this page - first, the organization launched a new logo in April 2022, which can be found here: https://www.canva.com/design/DAFyv7xRNaY/IHzVkReuVRKMI3MzhKMdGA/view?utm_content=DAFyv7xRNaY&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link&utm_source=editor
Additionally, some links are out of date. Footnotes 11 and 14 link to the same 404; the correct URL would be: https://www.just-style.com/news/new-dashboard-to-track-global-garment-sector-wages/ Footnote 27 links to a 404; the correct URL is: https://www.just-style.com/news/new-pact-to-protect-migrant-workers-in-global-supply-chains-2/ Footnote 29 links to a 404; the correct URL is: https://www.just-food.com/news/industry-report-highlights-forced-labour-in-palm-oil/ Footnote 38 links to a 404; the correct URL is: https://www.just-style.com/news/laws-needed-to-encourage-more-supplier-factory-listings/ Footnote 42 leads to a dead link. Footnote 47 leads to a dead link.
Thanks for reviewing these! Albert5660 ( talk) 15:31, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
