I believe that this section should be under supervision from the Socialism or Anarchism wikiprojects. Workers committees are not unique to Soviet Communism, and you saw them spring up with varying degrees of success in other Socioanarchist or Communist movements that had no direct political affiliation with Moscow; such as the Spanish Revolution.
