There are a few problems with this article as it stands.
One, the article is written by a contributor who has almost solely edited concerning the style of grappling newly sponsored by FILA, "Grappling".
Two, the article's description of grappling is lifted verbatim from the FILA official website (source 1), and obviously serves mostly as an advertisement for their fledgling foray into this established sport - going so far as to (currently, but I will address that) claim that the sport of "Grappling" was founded by FILA Wrestling! If it were very clear that the article was solely speaking about FILA's particular brand, that would be one thing - but it is only one of many grappling competitions, and it is far from the most prestigious or popular.
Three, there is already an article on grappling as a general term, which this page is somehow trying to cover while also speaking almost entirely about the FILA style.
Four, huge sections of the article are lifted wholesale from Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, such as the "Fighting" section which is a minor alteration of a copy+paste from the "Style of Fighting section in the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu article.
Considering this, it seems that this article should either be merged with the Grappling article and serve as a section there (there is already a section on FILA's grappling sport there which could be expanded), or re-written to discuss FILA's "Grappling" in the same manner as the Greco-Roman Wrestling page discusses only that particular sport, and have its title changed to reflect that it i. As it stands, I cannot see what the point of this article is. FlowWTG ( talk) 03:05, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
The article is still rife with direct copy & pastes from BJJ, sometimes with crude substitutions. If anyone would care to help re-write, it would be much appreciated. FlowWTG ( talk) 08:18, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
No consensus to move. Vegaswikian ( talk) 02:58, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
Grappling (FILA) → Grappling – Requesting move over existing redirect. Previous page has been moved to Grappling (martial arts), which is conventional naming. The (FILA) suffix is not a conventional way to disambiguate. The requested move will remedy this. Osubuckeyeguy ( talk) 19:02, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
