Christian Morgenstern's "St Expeditus" poem (1905)

In Christian Morgenstern's Galgenlieder (1905), there is a poem entitled St Expeditus about the fake legend of the nuns mistaking "expedite" for the name of the saint. See http://www.textlog.de/17472.html - is it worth mentioning in this article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Calmansi ( talkcontribs) 07:46, 3 March 2008 (UTC) reply

How to ask for St Expedite's help

You put a candle and a glass of water in front of His photo. You light the candle, ask for St Expedite's intercession, and promise to give Him a pound cake and a flower (most often a yellow rose is used) if He helps you. Most people ask for His help in collecting debts and overdue payments. After your prayers you wait until the candle burns down. Don't forget to put the cake before His photo and the flower in the glass of water when He helped you. Thanks for all your help, St Expedite. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:1110:21E:9353:4CFB:1542:CAC1:5EB5 ( talk) 17:08, 12 December 2022 (UTC) reply
