Potential confusion with Exeter College in Devon, which is not related to Oxford University. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.198.123.117 ( talk) 22:17, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
Belle Fast I have reverted this edit, which names Richard Stapledon as a founder of the college, because it is unsourced. The college website names only Walter de Stapeldon. TSventon ( talk) 18:34, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
Walter Stapledon , bishop of Exeter , with the help of his brother Richard , founded the economy of Exeter College on the tithes of a Cornish rectory and a handful of Oxford properties.[1] TSventon ( talk) 11:42, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
