Im NATO ist "Special Missions Aircraft" eine Beschreibung für zivile Flugzeuge, die für spezielle militärische Aufgaben umgerüsten worden sind, beispielsweise für Luftraumüberwachung wie das E-3 oder Businessjets für EloKa-Missionen. Die Flugbereitschaft verfügt über keine solche Maschinen und erfüllt keine solche Aufgaben, deswegen ist die englische Übersetzung "Special Missions Air Wing" falsch.

But it is not a question of what makes sense from your point of view or not, in its external appearance the "Flugbereitschaft" calls itself the Special (Air) Mission Wing vis-à-vis NATO and other services. For example, this is how the EATC refers to it
here. And we are not inventing anything new here in Wikipedia, but rather we are reproducing established knowledge, which is why your opinion is irrelevant to the question of how the unit is designated. It also occurs to me that the current designation is incorrect, if only because the task of the wing has never been to exclusively transport executive personalities. By the way, I find it rude to have a discussion in German on a discussion page of the English-language Wikipedia. --
