Hello all, I am planning to make edits to this page to correct the framing of executive order 8802 as being passed primarily to help Italian and German Americans. Sources have shown that the executive order was passed directly following FDR's talks with the Black leaders and activists mentioned in the latter half of the article's opening. Furthermore, I will make edits to further clarify that the difficulties in enforcing the order. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Suehinie ( talk • contribs) 21:01, 6 May 2023 (UTC)

Added links to related articles. Removed link to 1941 Harvard–Navy lacrosse game, as it is only tangentially related to 8802: while it concerns an incident of racial discrimination in 1941, it is obviously not the only such incident, and no logic of inclusion would suggest either that it is the most relevant, or that all other such incidents also be mentioned here.
