I'm sure there was a genetic algorithm drum loop generator (with a default tempo of 170+) around a few years ago. I can't find it now. Does anyone remember the name? Uncoolbob 22:44, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
This was run by Owen somebody I think. Can somebody add more details? Was there any followup or paper? It definitely happened (I was there). Uncoolbob 22:59, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
I added references to prior published work on GP and music, and these are self citations but I consulted the Wikipedia Teahouse and learned that self-citation "is allowed within reason, but only if it is relevant, conforms to the content policies, including WP:SELFPUB, and is not excessive." I think that's all true in this case. Before the edit the article gave the false impression that the first GP/music work was published in 1997. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leespector ( talk • contribs) 21:34, 2 September 2015 (UTC)
Authors should update links on these online generators - none of links aren't work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.19.3.87 ( talk) 21:23, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
