ErceÇamurOfficial has been adding a hatnote indicating that Mendes' name follows Spanish naming conventions and that "de la Caridad" is thus a paternal last name. But her father's name is stated in the article to be Méndez (and her mother's Pérez Suárez), so it appears clear that "de la Caridad" is a middle name. Unless there's any evidence of her having had a double last name, presumably Méndez Suárez, the hatnote is simply incorrect.

I have instead removed it. There's no need to clutter the article with a reference to Spanish naming customs when she does not follow them.
