  • "future Leo VI the Wise," -> "future emperor Leo VI the Wise,"
  • I"d put miracle-worker in quotes or something.
  • "Vita Euthymii, he accepted only after the emperor agreed to recall Katakalon from exile. " Source?
  • "in the presence of Leo and his brother, Stephen, who since December 886 was Patriarch of Constantinople." Clarify that Stephen was Leo's brother, not Euthymius'.
  • " machinations Zoe Zaoutzaina's" Missing an "of" here.
  • "— normally un-canonical — " Spaced emdashes are against MOS.

Pretty good little article you've written here! Courcelles ( talk) 00:44, 6 May 2018 (UTC) reply

Thanks, coming from you that means a lot :). Suggestions fixed except the third; the source are the references at the end of this section (in this case #2). Any further suggestions, beyond the scope of GAR? Any context or comprehensibility issues? Constantine 20:41, 10 May 2018 (UTC) reply
  • I'd source ref 4 and move it to a "footnotes" section, verify that "Indeed, the historian Shaun Tougher argues in her study of Leo's reign", as the only Shaun Tougher I can find on the internet that looks like the person is quite male... [1]. The article looks really good to my eyes. Promoting. Courcelles ( talk) 21:16, 10 May 2018 (UTC) reply
