Surprised to find not even a mention of the BBC broadcast of the mid-1950s (in a rather altered musical text)conducted by Fritz Stiedry in which the young Joan Sutherland - who had already impressed many at Covent Garden in 'Der Freischutz'- sang Euryanthe.
