We need a reliable source that confirm that he is ethnic chinese. From what I have seen we don't have that source yet, and unless it's given, his claimed chinese background and name will be removed. As far as i know most cites that said he has chinese roots could cite wikipedia seeing as they were written recently Found this youtube clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOSgf5mUrRg. Assume that if he was ethnic Vietnamese he would speak the language.

the sequence in career is not chronological and confusing. He was a payload specialist in 1992 but "started with NASA in 1999". While payload specialists are not necessarily NASA employees, the whole section would probably benefit from being re-written chronologically and clarification of his different roles/employers at the time of the flight versus today. 108.48.26.171 ( talk) 02:21, 2 September 2016 (UTC) reply
