Seems a bit redundant to me to have a separate article for this the first version of the etudes, when: firstly we don't have one for the second version; secondly, we discuss the main differences in the main Transcendental Etudes article; and thirdy, we have individual articles for each etude, where peculiarities can be discussed. I'd understand if the article could be expanded; but anything that could be put here to elaborate I feel would be better placed in individual etude's articles. The original name apparently was Étude en douze exercises - not Études - suggesting that the set was conceived as a whole, but I may be overthinking that. Schissel | Sound the Note! 02:33, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
