The referenced
Sky Sports article says that ”It is believed that Madrid valued the player at around €24m (£18.4m)” but that’s certainly not what Getafe payed for him? According to
El Mundo it was 5 million euros which sounds more like it. Can anyone find a better source (an article specifically about the Granero transfer preferrably) or shall we go with this one? –

Squad Number 2010/11
As there seems to be something of a contraversy regarding the 2010-11 Real Madrid squad numbers , I thought it best just to make the note here that the source for this change is the Real Madrid website first team squad page:

The English version of this page has not been updated (although the club shop page has been) and I suspect that this is what is causing the current confusion.
