Hello. I wonder if "escuminac" doesn't have a Basque origin, as many other places in Quebec. "Eskuminak" means greatings in Basque language, and it wouldn't be a nonsense to think about this etymology. Is there any evidence elsewhere? - Theklan ( talk) 23:52, 25 November 2017 (UTC)
