I don't disagree with Vance Packard's opinion, but why is it in this article, or at least in the opening paragraph entry? Probablynoteworthy ( talk) 04:34, 27 February 2017 (UTC)
The article suggests France was under Nazi rule by 1938 - surely that's a bit early?
"He and his wife fled to Paris, but soon realised that France, which was by then under Nazi rule, was also a dangerous place for a Jewish family. The couple left Europe permanently, arriving in New York in 1938"
Should that be:
"He and his wife fled to Paris, but realised that France, which was SOON TO BE under Nazi rule, was also a dangerous place for a Jewish family. The couple left Europe permanently, arriving in New York in 1938"
