Effects of burning sugarcane on air quality

This is a source of air pollution that should also be discussed in this article. Jarble ( talk) 05:04, 2 June 2015 (UTC) reply

Broken links and up-to-date edits needed

References #5 and #11-18 cite the Environmental Protection Agency, but the EPA’s website states that it has updated and made changes to the website so each of the links are broken. I just wanted to bring this up to your attention!

Furthermore, I would like to suggest adding a) additional issues including energy waste, tourism, etc and b) updating policy that Hawaii has enacted in the last 5 years towards sustainability, including its mission to go 100% renewable.

Coral bleaching

Global warming is causing corals to lose their color and bleach. That's an impact on Hawaiian ecosystems. Should that be noted? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Flossingjonah ( talkcontribs) 16:46, 13 May 2022 (UTC) reply
