-us?

All those species names ending in -us... with a genus name like Endoclita, one would expect them to be of feminine or neutral gender. What gives? Dysmorodrepanis ( talk) 15:18, 25 June 2008 (UTC) reply

  • Yeah, I get your point. The list is taken from the excellent Buffalo Museum of Science Hepialidae pages and googling a few of the -us species suggests they are correct.
