Throughout Series 7, Bright wears the rank insignia of an Assistant Chief Constable. In Series 8, he is back to being a Chief Superintendent, yet nothing is said about this promotion and demotion. What gives? Altgeld ( talk) 23:14, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
Series 7 ends with Thursday and Morse at odds and Morse going to Idlington. Series 8 begins with all forgotten and not explanation. Why? The producers of this show seem to be rather substandard. Altgeld ( talk) 00:28, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
