I'd like to see a mention of the Japanese reaction to the Potsdam Declaration, the mokusatsu (& clarification of its meaning), & Japanese efforts to get a surrender deal, brokered through the SU, beginning in April '45. TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 08:50, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
Did Japan have any other allies in the Far East other than Thailand (Siam)? Wikipedia has an article on Allied Commission which list what to most English speaking people will be a surprising number of Axis countries, all but one of them European. It would be helpful to expand the section on Thailand and any other allies to compare and contrast their treatment with that of the European states. -- PBS ( talk) 11:39, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
