Gone MIA

I'd like to see a mention of the Japanese reaction to the Potsdam Declaration, the mokusatsu (& clarification of its meaning), & Japanese efforts to get a surrender deal, brokered through the SU, beginning in April '45. TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 08:50, 12 October 2011 (UTC) reply

Thailand (Siam)

Did Japan have any other allies in the Far East other than Thailand (Siam)? Wikipedia has an article on Allied Commission which list what to most English speaking people will be a surprising number of Axis countries, all but one of them European. It would be helpful to expand the section on Thailand and any other allies to compare and contrast their treatment with that of the European states. -- PBS ( talk) 11:39, 13 October 2011 (UTC) reply

Here is a link to [[Template:Infobox military conflict]], which would probably be the appropriate infobox to use for this article. Note that a lot of the entries are optional. -- Lineagegeek ( talk) 19:28, 14 November 2021 (UTC) reply
Heythereimaguy Nick-D I agree, but It should not take a lot of editing to make this a narrative article, with a paragraph in the Prelude on the surrender of the other major Axis powers (including dates) and a paragraph on the Soviet commitment to enter the war against Japan, including the conferences, their dates and results. -- Lineagegeek ( talk) 19:28, 14 November 2021 (UTC) reply
Alright, I have done that. Heythereimaguy ( talk) 01:52, 15 November 2021 (UTC) reply
