Here we go again, another resort and another question as to what the real name is. When I created the page, I used the name in a recent press release. This is referenced in the infobox. Do we have any sources that are as reliable or more reliable as to the correct name? Generally I use the mailing address from a web site, but there is name and address listed that I found. On list of tallest buildings by US state the tallest building in Nevada is listed as the Wynn Las Vegas which is 614 ft. tall according to Wikipedia. The Encore Las Vegas is 631 ft. tall according to Emporis, which would make it the tallest building in Nevada. 67.171.172.44 ( talk) 23:10, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
The article currently states that there are truly 52 floors, out of 63 numbered, because floors 13 and 40-49 are omitted. However, Wynn numbers 60 floors and the Wynn article states that they only have 45. Other sources state that the Wynn skips not only the aforementioned floors but other floors that have a '4' in it: 14, 24, 34, and 54. Not Floor 4 itself presumably because the hotel room floors start at some floor that is the true floor but that is already above true floor 4. These extra 4 skipped numbers is how you get from 60 numbered floors to 45 actual floors.
I believe that the Encore follows the same numbering system and skips 14, 24, 34, and 54. It therefore only has 48 floors out of 63 numbered. This is substantiated by the fact that the wikipedia article for the Wynn says that it is 614' tall and the Encore is 631' tall, much closer in height than would be expected if the Encore was 7 floors taller than the Wynn. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.184.178.71 ( talk) 02:39, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
