I don’t have any specific knowledge, but my guess is that the Cobina Wright link goes to the wrong person - it links to the article for
Cobina Wright, Snr - who seems to have been an opera singer, actress, and newspaper columnist; there’s a note on that article to say “do not confuse” with
Cobina Wright, Jr (the daughter), who appears to be a more likely candidate the debutante that Elvia Allman’s character was satarizing. As I say, I don’t know, I was just reading the article in search of information when I came across what looks like a posssible error. 08:33, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
