In reply to Ebyabe's use of the word "admits" in the sentence above, I was well aware of the COI issue. In fact, I made it clear from the start who I was and the why I was making these edits. I did not need to "admit" anything: from the start I informed all WP users on who I was. It may seem like a minor issue but it is not. Being close to the subject matter is not an issue per se; quite the contrary it may be regarded as a benefit. The point is to achieve a neutral encyclopedia tone and back the facts with appropriate references. References will be provided as soon as possible. Regarding the tone, the additions I made may have been too celebratory, but they were a bona fide attempt to improve the previous version.
