I enjoyed reading the entry for Dr. Ellis Reynolds Shipp and will be making
a typing correction from 'Ship' to 'Shipp'. I'm sure the error was inadvertent.
Sometime later, I will give a rating to this page. I'll read rating criteria first.

It is, of course, an honor to work in Wikipedia; I am a fan!
"While Others Slept" is the autobiography and journal of Ellis Reynolds Shipp, M.D.,
in our possession. You can find it at rare-book stores or via Amazon.
The title refers to how she would arise two hours early to study medicine
before preparing breakfast for a pioneer family and then dress kids for school.
I'll read up on adding references and then add the book to the list in this article.

There are a few WP pages where I will have suggestions for pictures (and will be studying how to do that.), 69.225.118.149 ( talk) 14:22, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
Isn’t it amazing how recently pioneers lived? Dr. Shipp died 31JAN1939 and I was born a year and a half later. We are closer to pioneers than we may think. — Charles Edwin Shipp ( talk) 05:12, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
Question: How do you put a ref at the end of the second sentence of the Article? Such as pg 277 of "While Others Slept"
I thought I would try the following (in curly-bracket-braces) " { } " [ ( But I don't want the following to appear above, it needs to be below.) ]
cite book |title=While Others Slept last=Musser |first=Ellis Shipp |year=1962 |publisher=Bookcraft |location=SLC Utah |isbn=0884945693 |page=277

16:12, 29 August 2010 (UTC) PS: The picture of the board is very, very interesting, FYI.
I do not think the first paragraph is long enough; not enough information on why Dr Shipp's history is important and interesting. Charles Edwin Shipp ( talk) 20:21, 31 July 2011 (UTC)
There are some interesting details that can go into the Article, if they can be discovered. Charles Edwin Shipp ( talk) 20:48, 31 July 2011 (UTC)
Let us know if you are interested. Charles Edwin Shipp ( talk) 16:24, 15 January 2012 (UTC) . . . But since Dr Ellis R. Shipp passed over in 1939, it will help only with insights on her children and posterity. In other ways the history revealed with the snapshot of the 1940 US Census can help this Article. Lynnette and I will do the INDEXING and you can do the followup research. :-)
