Although this article is well written it has has no references other than a link to a short article in the Guardian. As it is about a living person this is a particular problem and I'm surprised it has been rated by the Biographies editors without comment. Richerman 23:12, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
Nice article (tho was over-burdened with trivia) but please remember, WP style is to use First and Surname together or Surname only. Please, no more "Elkie did this.. Elkie did that..." Thanks! -- Alchemy12 ( talk) 11:41, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

While this is interesting, we can't use it unless you provide a source. Also, none of this is really trivia, as trivia by its definition is "unimportant information" - it therefore shouldn't be in a trivia section but instead the information should be incorporated into the main article. - Tbsdy lives ( talk) 11:17, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

The Discography needs a bit of sorting out which I'll make a move on. There is no need to separate charting and non-charting singles - they should be put together chronologically. Also I've noticed that the majority of the compilation albums are unofficial 'budget' albums which have no place here really - much less their own articles!-- Tuzapicabit ( talk) 15:06, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Support split - Discography section is becoming long and should be split to a new article entitled Elkie Brooks discography. -- Jax 0677 ( talk) 19:19, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

A bit frustrating, this elkiebrooks.net. On the German Wikipedia page there is still a reference to elkiebrooks.com which is only initially less frustrating.
Are such links really necessary or can you imagine a hint to prepare us for emptyness and futility? Too many of these “Official Web-Sites” exist and I need 10 minutes to create a dozen more, if you want. None worth mentioning on Wikipedia. Sorry for ranting. I want to.
