@ Pokelova: Nice find on that obituary. Other sources differ on her date of birth.
Elizabeth was her parents' first child, and they married in 1838. In St Peter's Church in Onehunga, the register says she was born in 1842 at "Dublin B". In an interview in 1894, Elizabeth said she was born in Caithness and arrived in New Zealand (in 1852) aged seven, which suggests the birth year of 1845 as was in this article previously. [1]
It may be worth adding this discrepancy in birth dates to the article. See note a in Kate Sheppard or footnote 1 in Tom Neale for how I have previously dealt with such conflicting information.
