The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that Eliza Ann Grier (pictured), an emancipated slave, was the first African-American woman licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia? Not everyone of African descent in North Carolina in 1864 was a slave. Do we have any actual evidence she was born as a slave, or is this being assumed based on her place of birth and ancestry without any actual sources supporting it? John Pack Lambert ( talk) 16:03, 7 June 2023 (UTC) reply
