The following statement is irrelevant to Ms Bakopanos' bio: "On November 12, 2004, Bakopanos announced in Quebec over $47 million in funding for 49 new Canada Research Chairs at seven Quebec universities.[3] Funding for university researchers in Quebec from the Canada Research Chairs Program represents $40.7 million, while an additional $6.5 million has been invested by the Canada Foundation for Innovation to support research infrastructure."
