MPERCH ( talk) 18:12, 16 February 2015 (UTC)"The album also included Hendrix's first recorded song to feature the use of a wah-wah pedal, "Burning of the Midnight Lamp", which reached number 18 in the UK charts"
Is that right? I remember Get That Feeling Jimi Hendrix (and Curtis Knight) album (Capitol Records – ST-2856,1967) where Hendrix plays wah-wah pedal.
"Lamp" is definitely not Hendrix's first recorded use of a wah. Whoever wrote that is embarrassingly unfamiliar with Jimi's recorded output. It was used on the "Axis:Bold As Love" track "Wait Until Tomorrow". Maybe he used it with Curtis Knight even prior to Axis, I don't know. But Axis was prior to Ladyland, so that statement is false. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.118.91.107 ( talk) 22:55, 2 May 2017 (UTC)
