The following discussion is closed and will soon be archived:outcome was: not merged as no merge rationale offered and no consensus/discussion occured
In July 2021,
TattooedLeprechaun added
mergetags to the
Eir Sport 1 and
Eir Sport 2 articles. Suggesting the two articles/titles/content be merged here. However, unfortunately, no
WP:MERGEREASONs were provided, and no discussion thread was opened (or signposted) to allow for discussion on those WP:MERGEREASONs/concerns. Hence there has been no discussion (and no consensus) on whether/if/when/how to address those concerns.
TattooedLeprechaun, please consider outlining your rationale for a merger. Ideally here. Per
WP:MERGEPROP. Explaining what you propose to merge, why, and how. So that others can contribute. Otherwise the merge tags should be removed. As they are not (as they should be) signposting editors to a valid merge discussion. Thanks.

Bump. It is two weeks since the note above and over two months since the merge tags were added. If there are no other thoughts offered or a rationale proposed for the suggested merge (from the original tagging editor or anyone else), then I'll just be removing the related tags. And closing this thread. As neither seems to be serving any purpose. (Representing an initially incomplete and immediately abandoned merge proposal.)

Closing. It has now been ~3 months since the merge tags were added, and ~3 weeks since the above prompt for some form (any form) of merge reason/rationale. Absent any actual proposal (and any discussion on that proposal) I've removed the
mergetags. If someone wants to re-add the tags (and re-open the discussion), then great. Ideally, if doing so, a
reason for the tagging/merging/proposal would be offered if doing so. Per
WP:MERGEPROP.
