Epic off-road car
It's my understanding that the heavy off-road car was, in modern terms, the equivalent of the unarmored original
HMMWV. Obviously with a lesser power to weight ratio, because of the decades between them. See also:

Seems there might have been a BMW 325 in this series, there was a
BMW 326 in the 1930s - but would be good to find a reliable source.
