I vote it stays. The case is notable enough that someone might want to research her, which is what an encyclopedia is for. Czolgolz ( talk) 19:12, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
Although Eileen Flynn is recently deceased, WP:BLP has been mentioned as a concern, presumably because of privacy issues relating to the late Eileen Flynn and her family. Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding her dismissal involved her private life and this means we have to be careful. Maybe mentioning her funeral was going too far, though the page cited gives her date of death. Autarch ( talk) 19:54, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
The deletion proposal was added to the page when an early version (basically one sentence) was all there was. Since then, I've added some material with references to relevant news items, Oireachtas discussions and an academic paper. Autarch ( talk) 20:30, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
