It would be nice if the article described the actual sinking of the Egoz, and in particular what caused it to sink. (I'm not being sarcastic: I seriously have no idea and am curious. Was it weather, was it a military action, was it a fire, the article gives no clue.)

What I was told in Morocco by Jewish community leaders is that the ship was too old and in bad shape. They laid the blame on the Mossad organizing a trip with a ship that was not seaworthy. Of course this is original research and we must find a source for it before writing it in the article. In any case, it is somewhat unbalanced that the part about the aftermath (efforts to bury the remains in Israel) is much longer than the part about the actual tragedy. A little reworking would be desirable.
