There is a chronology problem with the third paragraph of the Biography. "James Townsend, President of the Seneca Oil Company, sent Drake to the site in the spring of 1858. Then, in the late 1840’s..." I'll leave it to someone more familiar with the article to address. Varan619 ( talk) 19:43, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Article says nothing about an army carreer. -- 129.13.72.198 ( talk) 14:14, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

Volcanoes are formed to release pressure from the inner corner, oil surrounds the inner core, the inner corner is a sun, the oil collects radiation and other materials later used in space, we collect the oil which is radiation and material all over it and we use it in our homes and cars. I wonder if he heard voices or his idea? but why something so nasty smell and so far down? 2601:98B:8200:F00:DFF:4D8B:1043:5FDB ( talk) 00:17, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
