There's no conflict between the two article titles (the bishop's article would not be titled with "priest" even if there were no other article about a cleric), so primary topic is irrelevant. In the very unlikely event someone lands on this very lightly viewed article
[1] looking for the bishop, they just have to read to the second sentence, or click on the newly-added hatnote. Lengthening the title to add the extremely obscure birth year of the already obscure priest benefits no one. However, if we really need to change the title, it should be
Edward Adderley Stopford, as shown in at least 3 different sources used in the article, per
WP:NATURAL. I'm not opposed to that.
