Re-name the article "Trade and the environment"?
This term appears to be fairly loose in the academic literature. The term "carbon tariff" is occasionally used synonymously. Is there perhaps an alternative all-encompassing concept for trade barriers that are intended to improve the environment? Should we re-name this article "Trade and the environment" and mention "eco-tariffs", "environmental tariffs", "carbon tariffs" etc in sections in the article? Wouldn't that be better? We could also examine debates and research on the relationship between trade and the environment.
