Pr0nographic films

I'm a bit dubious about the claim that Eat Carpet screens pornographic films. Can a source be cited? Cnwb 03:22, 7 March 2006 (UTC) reply

I don't think they showed pornographic material. It'd be against the Broadcasting Guidelines not only for the Australia-wide broadcasting authority, but for SBS's own guidelines. Because of that, I've modified the article to say "mildly pornographic". They showed a lot of sex on there, but there was no hardcore stuff that suggested it was pornographic. 202.126.97.233 07:57, 30 April 2007 (UTC) reply

Shorts on Screen

It has been some time since short films were aired on SBS under the Eat Carpet name. Curious why this article does not refer to it. Farsouth 12:09, 16 March 2007 (UTC) reply

Euphamistic title

At the time, it was widely assumed that the title "Eat Carpet" was a reference to SBS's goal to make programming for the female LGBT community without specifically mentioning the goal. As such, it had a strong LGBTQI viewership Farsouth 12:09, 16 March 2021 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.141.196.126 ( talk) reply
