Please note that I've changed the elevation for East Rock to 359 feet. This is based on the New Haven Data Book, published by the City of New Haven, and available on the web here: [1]. Also, a question: "great steps"? When I was a boy we called them the "giant steps," but of course I've seen nothing official either way. I haven't changed the article, but I'm curious if others have more information. Chick Bowen
I believe that on the maps posted in the park itself, they are called the "giant steps." I will change it accordingly, unless there are any objections
