While I applaud the creation of this article, the suggested name is not representative of the institution, nor is predominating in English-language sources. I would suggest the original Östgötateatern to be used, just as Östergötland (the noun that the adjective östgöta is construed from) has been left in its original Swedish.
If, however, a translation is needed, I would suggest the use of the older but well established Ostrogothian Theatre. OJH ( talk) 23:38, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
The result of the move request was: Page not moved. There is not sufficient consensus supporting this move and some debate whether it should be moved to an alternate title. ( closed by non-admin page mover) -- Dane talk 06:18, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
East Gothland Theatre → Östgötateatern – The current title is in breach with Wikipedia:Article titles#Foreign names and anglicization. OJH ( talk) 23:38, 15 January 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. ModernDayTrilobite ( talk • contribs) 20:44, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
