Boundaries - South London excluded? Who writes this, a non-East Ender?
Are there no south Londoners around? IMHO, areas like Elephant and Castle, New Cross and Bermondsey are definitely East End, so why the limitation to the northern boroughs?

If you can find a
reliable source that defines the East End in such a way, it can be mentioned in the article. However, I very much doubt you will. We cite half a dozen sources that attempt to define the East End: they disagree on its eastern and northern limits, but they all agree that it lies entirely north of the Thames. Bermondsey etc are Inner London or Sarf London: they're not in the East End.
