I'm assuming the Scottish titles have a standard remainder but I can't clarify atm. I have split the two lordships which should really have their own article but who was the first holder of the 1641 title. Alci12 22:03, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
Why isn't the Master of Stormont listed as "Lord Scone"? — Tamfang ( talk) 23:40, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

I would not list "Master of Stormont" as a subsidiary title, because the Earl does not hold it. The title Master of X belongs to the heir (apparent or presumptive) to the title Lord X (edit 2023: or Lord Blank of X). Calling it a subsidiary title of the earldom is like saying Duke of Rothesay is a subsidiary title of the monarch. — Tamfang ( talk) 01:58, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
The present earl is listed as "9th and 8th". Is that how he is described in authoritative sources? As he is 8th of the senior creation and 9th of the junior, one might expect "8th and 9th". — Tamfang ( talk) 00:02, 28 January 2023 (UTC)
