To-do list for Eagan High School: Pending tasks

For The alumni section, please only put alumni that have some significance or are varifyible. The same person has put up an unkown name, and has been deleted twice. If you believe this is a notable person, please explain it here first, before switching it back again. Thanks 52G 18:05, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
The history section has several items in it that are not history. The Natalie Darwitz tidbit was thrown in at the end. It does not flow with the section because it is not related to the rest of the section. I am requesting for deletion of this in the history section, as this is not the history of Eagan High School, and is more appropriate for the Honorable Alumni section, where it is already covered. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 52G ( talk • contribs) 18:09, 20 February 2007 (UTC).
Lots of nice work has gone into this article. :) To further improve it, I recommend checking for standard school formatting at Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools. You may also wish to review the Wikipedia:Manual of style to check on how to format dates. With a bit more work, the article might even be eligible for official Good Article status, though I'd recommend putting it through Wikipedia:Peer review first (after it's been checked over for the other style issues). Good luck with it, and let me know if you have any questions. :) -- El on ka 04:31, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Image:EaganHSSealSmall.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I think someone got the "supermileage" club confused with the aviation classes. I believe the supermileage club would be the ones who are building a fuel-efficient/fuel-free car, and the ones building the airplane are the ones taking the aviation classes. Could someone please verify this? -- 66.41.124.191 ( talk) 00:26, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
This is to warn everybody that this article sets off massive alarms on Earwig's Copyvio detector but it seems to be mistaken through no fault of its own.
The school has copied the entire article onto their own website, which is a thoroughly bizarre thing to do as you would think that they would want to promote themselves in their own words without needing to keep to our policies on NPOV. They have split this copy into several pages ( [1] [2] [3]...) but only acknowledged Wikipedia on the first of these. All the pages have the school's copyright notice on so it looks a lot like we were plagiarising them when we are not.
I had ripped out half of the article as copyvio before I realised what was going on. (Don't worry. I put it all back once I realised!)
So, the school regards this as their promotional blurb does it?... I fear that they may have had a hand in writing it. I propose we do quite a strict cull of unreferenced and promotional material. They can keep their preferred version on their own site if they want to although I really would recommend that they acknowledge our copyright and licence on each copied page, not just the first one, to avoid any more misunderstandings. -- DanielRigal ( talk) 20:04, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
