Correct Name

Is this article correctly named? While it is shown as DHI on page 128 of Pinkepank, in the index on page 456 it is listed as DH1, which would make more sense - Diesel Hydraulic One. Iain Bell ( talk) 13:11, 25 February 2008 (UTC) reply

What I suspect is that the 'I' is being used as the Roman numeral for the number one. More sources are probably needed to find which nomenclature was used by EMD, or indeed whether both were. Matthew Brown (Morven) ( T: C) 22:26, 25 February 2008 (UTC) reply

A J Kristopans lists them as type DHI-71 as they were built by Clyde Engineering in Australia. See http://community-2.webtv.net/ajkristopans/CLYDEENGINEERINGCO/ for a listing. --SSW9389 12:53, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
