@ RaquelStory: @ Psicopatria: What does the name mean? "Efacec emerged... from the union of the belgian group ACEC (Ateliers de Construtions Électriques de Charleroi) and CUF (Companhia União Fabril)..." - but this does not explain whether the new name is still an acronym, and if so, what it means. -- KnightMove ( talk) 04:56, 1 October 2021 (UTC)
@ KnightMove: I couldn't find a reliable quote for the exact meaning of the acronym. Speculating on the meaning, it seems to be a mix of "ACEC" with the "EF" prefix. Note that "EF" (meaning "Empresa Fabril", manufacturing company) was a common name/acronym of Portuguese industrial companies in the 20th century. Psicopatria ( talk) 09:48, 1 October 2021 (UTC)
