So what is up with the repeated editing and re-editing of the history of WMC-TV in Memphis? The tone on the original statement ("Did you know ... It's true.") is completely inappropriate for an encyclopedic entry. I'd rewrite the section into something more in line with the rest of the article, but having seen another user edit it back into triviaspeak once before makes me cautious of changing it again.

How can the Stuart papers be Scripps' oldest if they date from the mid 1960's? The company has owned the News-Sentinel in Knoxville, Tennessee far longer than this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.246.142.16 ( talk) 03:03, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
Didn't Scripps also own a bunch of cable television systems in the United States? Shouldn't that be included also? TheGoofyGolfer ( talk) 01:10, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

Please update the tables as WHTV in Lansing MI is no longer on the air. Steelbeard1 ( talk) 00:30, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
SSP is traded on the NASDAQ Global Select market, not the NYSE.
Since the actual link is generated by the infobox, this may be a larger issue than just this one article. The stock symbols are now prepended with a market ID.
