See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Classical Greece and Rome#Recent uploading of pages by 67.111.218.66. The existing short page (which wasn't especially good or up to date) has been replaced with what looks like a student essay. Interwiki links etc. have been deleted. It is true that the Thesaurus Linguae Graecae text of Athenaeus says this, but that is because the TLG text is copied from the edition by Kaibel. As already explained in the article (and footnoted), all recent editions of Athenaeus have this text, based on the emendation by Korais. But the manuscript doesn't have it. The manuscript says at this point that Hippolochos (the subject of the sentence) was a student of Theophrastus. Andrew Dalby 14:51, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
