Since the Parliament House is located in Downtown Core, can it be argued that Downtown Core is the capital of Singapore? Whenever maps put a star for "Singapore city" on a map of Singapore, they do put the star in the area of Downtown Core. Inkan1969 ( talk) 04:04, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
This title is too generic for it to only refer to Singapore. Shouldn't we change it to "Downtown Core of Singapore" or Downtown Core (Of Singapore)? -- Mistakefinder ( talk) 22:55, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
I have never heard of anyone refer to the downtown in Malay as "Pusat Bandar Kor", and even if people do so, it's poor form. I will like to see documents or links that refer to it as such.
The term "pusat bandar" already means "centre of the city" which more or less conveys the meaning of "Downtown Core". If there are no objections, I will correct it to "Pusat Bandar". Fauzi ( talk) 05:25, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
