Proposed merge to Source (command)

This should really be a disambig, as . has so many different meanings on Unix — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.89.139.58 ( talk) 14:33, 28 October 2013 (UTC) reply

Sounds reasonable. Cesiumfrog ( talk) 10:50, 22 July 2015 (UTC) reply
This would be wrong as the POSIX standard does not define a "source" command. If you like to merge, merge the source command content into this article. Schily ( talk) 15:48, 22 July 2015 (UTC) reply
Csh does not define ".". How about "Source and dot (command)"? -- Arthur 2e5 Crap 15:43, 11 May 2016 (UTC) reply
Csh is a nonstandard command and thus has lower precedence with respect to categorization. Schily ( talk) 16:40, 11 May 2016 (UTC) reply
Merging source here sounds good to me, the only problem might be some reduced readability in command name. Regarding that disambig request, perhaps I should propose moving to "Dot (command)". -- Arthur 2e5 Crap 23:40, 12 May 2016 (UTC) reply
